Danny Steagall’s career has spanned three decades, enriching audiences worldwide in the country, pop and cowboy music arenas. After attending West Texas State University in the seventies, he joined Big Brother Red, in the heyday of his honky tonk career.

Fronting the highly acclaimed western swing band, the Coleman County Cowboys as guitarist, vocalist and band leader, Danny Steagall toured the world and earned the respect of his contemporaries as an accomplished musician and stylist. In the eighties, he organized his own band in Fort Worth and continued to build his career in venues across Texas and Oklahoma.

He relocated to Nashville in the late eighties, making a name as a songsmith in major publishing circles with cuts on popular artists such as Red Steagall, Janie Fricke, Conway Twitty, Leann Womack and Mark Chesnut, Gretchen Wilson and Merle Haggard. He is currently residing in central Oklahoma.
